Sugar and sweeteners
We’re all trying to cut down on sugar but never quite succeed because we are so emotionally attached to it. Priméal sugar is extracted from sugar cane, sugar beet, maple, date palms, agave etc...
Sugars

Priméal sugars are unrefined cane sugars. Sugar cane is pressed to extract the juice (70 to 80%), which is then used to produce brown, red and golden cane sugar.
Agave syrup

This is obtained by concentrating the juice from the heart of a cactus grown originally in Mexico. It has a high sweetness factor, and is used in both hot and cold dishes. Agave syrup is an excellent replacement for sugar in dairy products.
Fructose

Priméal fructose is extracted using enzymatic processes with no added chemicals. Very useful for non-insulin-dependent diabetics because it has very little effect on glycemia. Fructose can be used to produce lower-calorie sweet dishes because of its high sweetness factor: 1.5 times more than sucrose.
Origin
Priméal’s golden cane sugar comes from Brazil
